The Way, The Truth, The Life

About Our Messiah

Birth and Early Life: Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Judea, around 4-6 BCE, according to biblical accounts. His birth is celebrated on Christmas Day by Christians around the world. He was raised in Nazareth by his mother Mary and her husband Joseph, who was a carpenter.

Ministry: At around the age of 30, Jesus began his public ministry, preaching about the Kingdom of God, love, forgiveness, and repentance. He performed miracles, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, and calming storms, to demonstrate his divine authority.

Teachings: Jesus’ teachings are primarily recorded in the four Gospels of the New Testament of the Bible (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). His teachings emphasized love for God and neighbor, humility, forgiveness, and compassion. He also spoke extensively about the importance of faith and the need for spiritual renewal.

Death and Resurrection: Jesus’ crucifixion is a central event in Christianity. He was arrested, tried by the Roman authorities, and sentenced to death by crucifixion. We believe that Jesus’ death was a sacrifice to atone for the sins of humanity. Three days after his death, we believe that Jesus rose from the dead, demonstrating victory over sin and death

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life
